Chinese style rosewood or similar secretary desk with stunning branch and bird carved details in relief throughout. Slant top compartment provides much storage space as well as two smaller lower and two larger lower storage drawers. Stunning cherry red finish. Unmarked. This piece is quite heavy, probably around 90 pounds.

Condition: Some minor scuffs, scratches, chips to the finish, and other such wear throughout. Some dust collection in areas with ridges. Two larger drawers are slightly hard to open. Appears to have significant sunfading or fading to the finish to the upper left corner of the back side. Minor cosmetic wear.
