2 hand puppets, or Wayang Golek as they are known in Indonesia, with hand painted wooden heads, wood stake bodies, and stitched fabric clothing. 1 resembles a traditionally Sundanese puppet by the name of Cepot, easily distinguished by his red face.
TALLER 18 1/2"H x 3 3/4"W x 3"D. SMALLER 16"H x 3"W x 2 1/2"D.
Condition: Heads of both the puppets are not affixed and remove easily, and only Cepot has an operating stick in his left hand. Several tears and stains throughout the puppets clothing. Other wear includes chipped paint, cracking wood, fraying fabric, and other imperfections consistent with age and use.
