Collection of 20 rare recovered relics found in the vicinity of the American Civil War Battle of Antietam (sometimes known as the Battle of Sharpburg). The Battle of Antietam took place in Washington County, Maryland on Septemeber 17, 1862 and is the deadliest one-day battle in American history resulting in over 22,000 dead, wounded, or missing.

Each item in this collection has a provenance statement with information that may include who found the relic, the location it was found, when the item was found, and other interesting facts about the item. Most statements include a photo of the item to which it pertains.
