Lot includes architectural items from the Berry Home in Illinois. Abraham Lincoln was business partners with William F. Berry in a store for a portion of his life. These elements are from the home of Reverend John M. Berry, father of William, and founder of Rock Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

This lot includes:
– Original clapboard from the Berry House circa 1824-1825 showing original white paint and holes from hand-forged nails. Includes wood and glass display case.
– Original hand-split shingle siding from the Berry House circa 1824-1825. Includes wood and glass display case with plaque.
– Wood peg for structural beam joint from the Berry House circa 1824-1825. Item includes custom display stand with plaque.
– 2 portions of mud and prairie grass insulation from the Berry House circa 1824-1825. One piece is housed in a glass display case with plaque, the other piece does not have a display case but does include a descriptive plaque.
Condition: Items were removed from historic sites. Wear consistent with the age and nature of the relics. Due to nature of mud insulation, there is some crumbling.
