A beautiful large carved and painted wooden statue of a female Chinese Guanyin bodhisattva buddhist figure. She is depicted doing the karana mudra with her right hand and holding a water skein in her left.
40"H x 10"Dia.
Condition: The paint on the statue has wear consistent with age including peeling and chipping. The gold paint has faded the most and little remains. The statue also has a large crack in the base and some smaller cracks in the head and arm.
