Contemporary large stoneware lidded souffle/casserole dish. Circa 1980. Ceramicist Joe Zeller. Beautifully glazed stoneware covered lidded soufflé dish. Very attractive and skillfully carved floral design on the lid. Can serve from both bottom and lid. Wheel thrown. This lidded souffle piece was fired to cone 11 in a catenary arch wood kiln that Zeller built. Professor at Cleveland Institute of Arts and University of Idaho.
