Group of two 19th century Chinese Tibetan metal prayer or gau boxes. The smaller box with beaded rim and floral repousse motif. The larger box with beaded rim depicting the eight auspicious symbols against scrollwork designs.
(Smaller) Height: 3 3/4 in x width: 3 1/2 in x depth: 1 1/2 in. (Larger) Height: 4 1/2 in x width: 4 in x depth: 1 1/2 in.
Condition: Some tarnishing throughout. Small dents to the backs and sides of each reliquary. The smaller reliquary lacking a glass pane screen.
