Original WWII era documentary large format photograph by Clarence Ferrell Stoody (1906-1986). Pencil signed ?Stoody? with title and date. Images were shot with a Graflex Crown Graphic. Rare photo, possibly one of a kind.
Photo shows Sri Lankan guide beside a stone carving of Nagaraja at a vatadage, a Buddhist structure in Polonnaruwa. Photo is adhered to paper and attached to mat board.
