Group of two early 20th century Japanese works on paper including a funpon ink study sketch and a shita-e ink on Minogami paper drawing. The shita-e drawing depicting Gozen with her daughter and possibly her Samurai father, Jo Sukekuni. The smaller black funpon ink drawing (Funpon) depicting Gozen with her daughter and possibly her Samurai father Jo Sukekuni. No inscription. Gozen’s (Lady Hangaku) ongoing legacy as a courageous and skilled female samurai has made her a symbol of strength and resilience.
