Chinese teak jewelry box with inset pierced jade panels and brass hardware. Green silk interior.
Height: 3 in x width: 10 in x depth: 3 1/2 in.
Condition: There is warping to the wood; the lid does not rest flush with the chest. Uneven toning and wear to the finish, including a scuff along the left half of the lid, beneath the jade. Some bends, dents, and tarnishing to the metal components. Light dust gathered along the recessed areas. There are some small chips and areas of calcification along the inset jade carvings.
