Maigon Daga (Latvian, 1923-2001). Group of three mid-century modern studio art pottery figurines in the form of animals. Including a polar bear, walrus, and Afghan hound. Each signed along the underside. The hound titled along the underside.
Height ranges from 4 1/4 in to 6 1/2 in; width ranges from 6 1/4 in to 8 1/2 in; depth ranges from 4 in to 5 1/2 in.
Condition: To the figures, there are no breaks or losses. To the polar bear, there are small cracks, or possibly linear firing flaws, along the bear’s neck. To the bases, there are small to moderate chips. Each with felt tabs affixed along the underside.
