Pair of Chinese PRC Blanc de Chine porcelain figurines. Including one long-bearded scholar pouring baijiu into a drinking vessel; and one fisherman holding his large catch. Each with Mayco CL labels along the undersides; and incised numerical inscriptions along the interior.
Height ranges from 10 1/2 in to 10 3/4 in; width ranges from 3 1/4 in to 5 1/4 in; depth ranges from 3 in to 3 1/2 in.
Condition: There are no cracks or signs of repair. To the fisherman, there is a minute chip along the upper fin of the fish. There is a small loss to the Blanc de Chine finish along the back of the fisherman. To the scholar, there is a small chip along the rim of the sake cup. To each, there are felt tabs affixed along the foot rim. There are multiple previous labels affixed along the underside and back of each figure. Light wear to the undersides.
