Group of two Chinese blue and white porcelain ginger jars depicting prunus motifs along the body of the vessel. Both with lids and an apocryphal Kangxi double blue circle mark along the underside.
(Larger) height: 6 1/4 in x diameter: 5 1/4 in. (Smaller) height: 4 1/4 in x diameter: 4 1/2 in.
Condition: To each there are no cracks or breaks. There are flea bite chips along the rims of the lids, upper rims, and the foot rims. Accretions gathered along the interiors. To the smaller jar evidence of previous tape adhesive along the exterior of the lid. To each light wear to the foot rim.
