Victor Arnautoff (Russian/American, 1896-1979). Group of five landscape prints. Including one titled "Luminous Day, " one titled "Lone Oak, " one titled "Spring Waters, " and two prints depicting a rustic barn. Three of the prints are pencil signed, titled, and editioned along the lower margin. The two untitled prints are initialed in plate along the lower right.
Provenance: By repute, purchased from the estate of the artist’s son.
Height ranges from 9 3/4 in to 15 1/4 in; width ranges from 11 1/2 in to 20 in.
Condition: No major losses. Two prints with tears along the extreme edges. The sheets are toned. To two of the prints, there is undulation to the sheet consistent with having been rolled; the upper and lower extreme edges curl upwards. Scattered creases, handling marks, light soiling, and areas of foxing. Two prints with partial residual hinges along the upper edge. One print with red accretions along the lower extreme edge. Wear along the extreme edges. The works are not framed.
