Edwards Roos Company, Chicago. Vintage cedar storage chest or trunk with ornate hardware, two interor compartments, and rolling casters, early 20th century. Marked along the interior of the lid.
Height: 18 1/2 in x width: 45 in x depth: 20 in.
Condition: The chest is structurally sound and stable. There is a partial break to the handle along the left side of the chest; the lower portion of the handle hangs loose. The rolling casters move with resistance. There are scattered accretions and areas of uneven toning, primarily along the chest’s surface. The chest opens and closes with ease. Wear commensurate with age and use, including scattered small to moderate chips, light scuffs, and scratches.
