Collection of rare recovered relics from the American Civil War. Some items in this collection has provenance information that may include who found the relic, the location it was found, when the item was found, and other interesting facts about the item. Most statements include a photo of the item to which it pertains.

In order from left to right, top to bottom, the collection consists of:

– Dropped Confederate Gardner bullet (top left corner), unknown location
– Spencer cartridge casing from Wheeler’s Raid at Anderson’s Cross Roads in Tennessee.
– Commerorative Antietam Forever Stamp
– Group of buttons excavated near Culpepper, Virgina by Brian Bemis in 2019
– Pulled/misfired .69 caliber bullet found at the Ecker Farm at Antietam, which was used as a Union artillery position, staging area for Burnside’s attack, and a hospital site.
– Bullet excavated near Culpepper, Virgina by Brian Bemis in 2019
– Metal relic excavated near Culpepper, Virgina by Brian Bemis in 2019
– Horseshoe recovered by Robert Compton at General James Longstreet’s Headquarters in Appomattox, Virgina
