Dulcimer, also referred to as Appalachian dulicmer or mountain dulcimer made by Thomas Dulcimers of Hickory, North Carolina. Label also has hand-written "7-87", perhaps indicating manufacture date. Maple wood construction with lacquered finish. Includes hard case.
