White’s Pottery, Utica, New York. Rare three-gallon salt-glazed stoneware ceramic crock or jar depicting a cobalt blue glazed and incised paddletail bird, 19th/20th century. Impressed "Whites Utica" and numbered three along the exterior below the rim.
11"H x 10.75"Dia.
Condition: Wear throughout including a few small losses along the exterior and a loss to the rim approximately 1 inch in length. There are two cracks extending from the rim to the footrim of the crock along one side. Dust and debris gathered throughout.
