18th c. portrait of a young girl, possibly French School, in oil on canvas. The sitter is depicted elegantly dressed, clasping a rose in one hand, while her other hand supports her lace edged apron, which has a nosegay resting atop it. The tag attached to the nosegay reads "Ut Phoenix multiplicabo. dies." Stretched canvas, unframed.
