Large and elaborately carved Chinese serpentine vase in the form of a peafowl and peahen standing amidst flowering foliage. With a carved wooden stand.

Condition: There are natural fissures, lines, and variations in color throughout. There is a repaired crack running vertically along the left side of the vase. Some calcifications throughout. Light wear and some minute losses to the high points of the flower petals. There is an adhesive substance gathered along the crevices of where the stand is affixed to the vase. Dust and debris gathered throughout the recessed areas. Light wear to the wooden stand.
