Jacksonville was granted an NFL expansion team in 1993 and began play in 1995. There is a limited group of merchandise with what is known as the ‘Banned Logo’ that was initially released for the announcement of the expansion team. Controversy arose with the Ford Motor Company / Jaguar who felt the logo too closely resembled the Jaguar car logo. An agreement to change the logo was reached, making the banned logo merchandise a rarity. Cushion marked KR Industries and copyrighted 1993 NFLP.
