John Conrad Berkey (American, 1932-2008). Acrylic or gouache on board painting depicting a landscape with figures on horseback on a traditional hunt with a pack of dogs.
Berkey is perhaps most well-known for his science fiction works including much of the original poster art for the original Star Wars trilogy.
Height: 18 1/4 in x width: 22 in.
Condition: General wear including some residual tape along the edges, glue residue in the margins. The matboard, which is likely acidic, is coming up in some areas, showing the glue residue underneath. The work is not framed.
