Gold leaf flecked endpapers. Printed paper label on cover inset in a shallow well. Gilt head
and tail edges.

Condition: Very small puncture dent in front cover and a small pencil mark on the edge. The inner pages are free from damage and the text block is tight. The black and white illustrations are clear and visible. Back fly leaf creased. Top corner of pages was bumped. Minor scuffing on edges of boards. Original box is worn and edges are taped but complete.
