Framed Chinese hardstone carving in the form of a taotie mask or figure above a bi.
Sight; height: 8 in x width: 5 in. Framed; height: 18 in x width: 14 1/2 in x depth: 2 in.
Condition: Due to the richly textured nature of the artwork, it is difficult to discern if it has been compromised. However, there are no visible breaks or losses. Housed within a wooden frame, under glass. Light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
