Dine (Navajo) wool double saddle blanket or rug textile, 19th/20th century. The carpet with central field of angular geometric motifs against cream. Executed in reds, orange, and brown, Resembling vibrant Germantown yarns. Bordered by beige ground, a band of red, orange, and cream along two edges.
Length: 38 in x width: 18 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are areas of insect activity and small holes throughout. Wear along the edges. No odors.
