Maigon Daga, Daga Design Studio. "Sleeping Cat on Rock", 1980s, Minneapolis, MN. Maigon Daga (1923-2001) was a Latvian-born potter who immigrated to Australia (1954-1964) and later to Minneapolis (1964-2001). He produced both functional pottery and sculptural pieces, especially animal figures.
Height: 4 1/2 in x width: 7 in x depth: 5 in.
Condition: There are no major breaks, losses, or repairs. There is a small chip to the left ear. Four felt tabs along the underside of the cat.
