Both depicting churches. One inscribed "Earles Barton" along the lower right. Written in pencil along the verso "A.E. Newcombe / The Church at Earls Barton / Northamptonshire / AUL ’92 London." The other with a paper affixed to the verso reading "’Deerhurst" The church of St. Mary watercolour / 19th century / English school. / Deerhurst is a village near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire known for its two pre-Norman buildings; the Church of St. Mary and a Chapel called Odda’s Chapel."
(Each) Height: 14 1/2 in x width 13 1/2 in x depth: 1 in.
Condition: The sheets are toned. There are small networks of foxing throughout each. Both with undulation. No visible tears, creases, losses, or restorations. Both housed under non-acidic mats. Framed under glass. Light wear to the frames. Not inspected out of frames.
