American Satsuma lidded ceramic wedding, keepsake, jewelry, or trinket box. Depicting enameled Art Deco foliate motifs executed in gilt and muted pastel color pigment. Marked "ELK" along the underside.

Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use, including crazing to the glaze, some wear to the pigment, and wear to the feet.
