Pair of Japanese octagonal Imari ware porcelain saucers or small plates, each depicting an avian form along the center and with custom stands, and a carved figural letter opener or knife.
(Letter opener) Length: 7 in x width: 1 1/2 in x depth: 1 in. (Saucers, each) Diameter: 4 in.
Condition: To each of the saucers, there are fleabite chips along the rims. To the footrim of one saucer, there is a small chip. Some wear to the pigment. To the letter opener, there is a crack along the sheath. Light scratches and small accretions to the blade.
