Chivly Chupak (Cambodian-Alaskan, b. 20th century). Carved organic material shamanic transformation figure, depicting an anthropomorphic bird form. Incised "Chupak, Juneau, Alaska" along the underside.

Condition: There are chips along the extreme edges of the wings, feathers, and the base, including a small loss along one of the foremost points of the base. There are some narrow fissure, primarily along the base, inherent to the medium of the work.
