Papua New Guinean Sepik River region style carved wood and pigment totem sculpture, depicting a bird perched atop the head of a standing male figure.
Height: 31 in x width: 18 in x depth: 12 in.
Condition: Wear, as expected with age and material throughout. There are some splits forming in the wood throughout. There are areas of flaking and losses to the pigment throughout, especially along the wings. Some chips along the extreme edges.
