Victor Arnautoff (Russian/American, 1896-1979). Group of three prints. Including one print titled "The Man in the Rain, " one print titled "Stalingrad Sniper, " and one print titled "Pure Art." Each pencil signed, titled, and editioned along the lower margin.
Provenance: By repute, purchased from the estate of the artist’s son.
Height ranges from 12 1/4 in to 18 1/4 in; width ranges from 11 3/4 in to 19 1/4 in.
Condition: To the "Stalingrad Sniper" print, there are tears and losses, extending inwards from the extreme edges of the work. There is a piece of black adhesive along the upper edge of the work. To the remaining two prints, there are no major tears or losses. Scattered creases, primarily along the corners. To each, there are areas of foxing. Wear along the extreme edges. The works are not framed.
