Vintage Mexican folk art "Tlaquepaque" tourist pottery ceramic lidded casserole or tureen, ca. 1940s-1950s. The exterior depicting a pastoral scene with campesino men, cacti, a burro donkey, and agave plants. Executed in blues, greens, and yellows against a cream ground.
Height: 6 1/4 in x width: 12 1/4 in x depth: 7 in.
Condition: There are some small losses and crazing to the glaze throughout. Wear to the rims.
