Vintage Mexican folk art "Tlaquepaque" red ware tourist pottery saucer tray or serving plate of a rare form resembling two layered leaves, depicting a pastoral scene with a grazing burro donkey beside a tree and cluster of cactus, ca. 1940s-1950s. Inscribed "Mexico" along the underside.
Height: 1 in x length: 12 in x width: 10 1/4 in.
Condition: General wear throughout commensurate with age and use. Some small chips on the rim and edges resulting in loss of pigment and glaze. Small scuffs and scratches to the underside.
