Chinese reverse painting on glass. Depicting a a young female courtesan with a traditional hairstyle adorned with pearls wearing an embroidered red and blue robe while playing a musical instrument.
Height: 22 1/2 in x width: 16 in x depth: 3/4 in.
Condition: There are no visible breaks or cracks. There are small losses to the pigment along the extreme edges. Wear to the frame, including scattered losses to the varnish and accretions gathered along the surface of the glass. Framed under glass. Work not inspected out of frame.
