Chinese famille rose porcelain jar mounted as a table lamp of bulbous form with painted foliate motifs and calligraphy inscriptions.
Height: 19 1/2 in x diameter: 9 1/2 in.
Condition: To the porcelain lamp, there are small chips along the mouth of the vessel which appear to have been painted over with black pigment. No cracks or breaks. Wear to the glaze, particularly along the painted inscriptions. Some wear to the wooden elements of the vase, including scuffs and scratches. Electrical component not tested for functionality.
