Pair of Plains Native American moccasins, likely Sioux, Lakota, or Dakota. Comprised of deer hide or buck skin, horse hair, and sewn with sinew. By repute, formerly belonging to the writer Emerson Hough. With photographs and articles dating to the 1930s pertaining to and depicting Emerson Hough. Initialed "EH" along the heel.
