Victor Victrola, Camden, New Jersey. Vintage portable talking machine or tabletop disc phonograph. Plaque along the front indicating "Style VV-VI-A, " serial number "379190." This particular make and model was designed with a built-in horn along the interior of the phonobox. Its portability made it popular with World War I troops overseas.
Height: 10 in x width: 17 1/2 in x depth: 12 in.
Condition: There are two breaks and some losses to the rubber gasket which secures the needle mechanism in place. The needle mechanism is with the turn table, but is unable to be mounted or secured to the end of the turntable arm, given the condition of the gasket. General wear commensurate with age and use including toning to the velvet. The turn table rotates when spun, however, due to the condition of the needle and arm, it has not been tested for functionality.
