Group of four Chinese paintings and embroideries.
Height ranges from 18 1/4 in to 24 in; width ranges from 8 in to 18 1/2 in; depth ranges from 1/4 in to 1 in.
Condition: There are no large visible tears. Wear throughout commensurate with age and materiel, including light toning. There are some scattered small areas of foxing, especially to the embroidery depicting a bird on a branch. There are areas of fraying and wear to the yellow ground painting; there are signs of moisture exposure and a tide line along the lower quadrant of the work. To the framed work, there are several horizontal and diagonal creases throughout, the fabric is layed to a board. Only one work is framed; three works are not framed.
