Taxidermied shoulder mount of an African black wildebeest, also known as the white-tailed gnu. Collected August 29, 1978 at Hella Hella, South Africa. Possibly a record book specimen as noted by inscription along back which reads "just 1/2" short of world record."

Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use. No major breaks or losses. Shedding to the fur. Wear along the extreme edges.
