Burchell’s Plains zebra skull with lower jaw. Collected April 21, 1983. Ink inscribed along the top of skull.
Height: 12 1/4 in x length: 18 in x width: 8 in.
Condition: The skull is hinged shut with wire, and the jaw does not open. There are a few cracks, particularly along the mandible or lower jaw and along the teeth. There are scattered small chips and losses, primarily along the extreme edges of the skeletal features and along the teeth. Light dust gathered along recessed areas.
