Group of two Papua New Guinea carved shell tribal armbands, bracelets, or cuffs. Possibly from the Cenderawasih Bay (formerly Geelvink Bay). Including one cuff depicting a circle-and-dot motif and a second cuff of modest organic design.
(Circle & Dot Cuff) Inner diameter; approximately: 2 1/2 in. (Plain Cuff) Inner diameter, approximately: 2 in.
Condition: There are no major breaks or losses. There are some small chips along the terminals of each cuff. There are natural toned fissures to each.
