Paul Schmidtke Folk Art carved poplar pine horse figurine. With a note adhered along the underside reading "This horse was made from the core of the Poplar tree in East Prussia by Paul Schmidtke. Donated to the Thunderbird Museum by Anneliesa Rice, sister of Paul on 5/23/87."
Height: 15 1/4 in x width: 10 1/2 in x depth: 4 in.
Condition: There are no major breaks, cracks, or losses. There is a small chip along the front left knee.Accretions gathered along the recessed areas. Light wear along the base.
