Group of embroided silk and brocade tapestry panels and textiles, reputedly once belonging to missionary Ms. Emma Lyon, founder of Nanjing University Affiliated High School in China, previously Christian Girls School. Ms. Emma Lyon was well respected in China, as a number of Chinese sources mentioned her as the founder of the Nanjing Chinese school.
Length ranges from 7 in to 52 in; width ranges from 7 in to 53 in.
Condition: Wear throughout commensurate with age and use. Some textiles with shattering, tears, and losses.
