Josefina Arias de Pedretti, Jalisco. Vintage Mexican folk art "Tlaquepaque" tourist pottery ceramic lazy susan serving platter, ca. 1940s-1950s. Each component depicting pastoral scenes with blue burro donkeys, colorful cacti, agave, and additional similar motifs; the rim of the plate of scalloped form. The platter with impressed "J. Arias P. Made in Mexico" taller (workshop) stamp along the underside.
Height: 2 in x diamter: 14 in.
Condition: Crazing to the glaze throughout. To the underside of two of the semi-circular inset pieces there are chips. Light wear to the underside of all inset pieces. Several chips to the scalloped rim of the tray. No major cracks or repairs.
