Antique carved wooden writing box in the form of a book.
Height: 3 1/2 in x width: 12 in x depth: 8 1/4 in.
Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use. There is a narrow split forming along the center of the lid. Some wear along the extreme edges. The lid is not attached to the upper hinge; however, the hinge is able to rest in place to maintain the functionality of the lid. The box is with a key. The lock functions.
