Group of three early Balinese carved wood and pigment wayang topeng dance masks.
Height ranges from 7 in to 8 in; width ranges from 5 3/4 in to 6 in; depth ranges from 4 1/4 in to 6 1/2 in.
Condition: There is a repaired break to the left side of the black mask; resulting in a large crack along the left side, extending downward from the apex of the head to the lower jaw. To one mask, there is a small chip along the lower left lip. To each, there is some wear to the gilt and pigment, including losses and areas of flaking. To each, there is wear along the extreme edges, including to the noses.
