Collection of 15 rare recovered relics found in the vicinity of the American Civil War Battle of Gettysburg. The Battle of Gettysburg took place in and around Gettysburg, Pennsylvania from July 1 to July 3, 1863.
Each item in this collection has provenance information that may include who found the relic, the location it was found, when the item was found, and other interesting facts about the item. Most statements include a photo of the item to which it pertains.

– Blown Bormann fuse from spherical artillery shell found in Reynold’s Woods. Formerly part of the Iva Rosensteel Collection.
– Brass knapsack strap adjuster found on Oak Ridge. Found by John Cullison and later was part of the Rosensteel family collection.
– Large roller buckle found near Devil’s Den and Big Round Top. Formerly part of the Iva Rosensteel Collection.
– US Model 1855/61 combination gun tool found behind Pennsylvania Monument. Formerly part of the Iva Rosensteel Collection.
– Civil War carved lead pencil found near Emmitsburg Road (Rick Rummel).
– Fired bullet with deep impact mark found between Devil’s Den, Little Round Top and Big Round Top. Formerly part of the Iva Rosensteel Collection.
– High velocity impact fired bullet found at Devil’s Den. Formerly part of the Iva Rosensteel Collection.
– Confederate Lead Case Shot found at Pickett’s Charge field. Found by John Cullison and later part of the Rosensteel Family Collection.
– .54 caliber bullet found at Devil’s Den. Formerly part of the Iva Rosensteel Collection.
– Mushroomed fired bullet found between Devil’s Den, Little Round Top and Big Round Top. Formerly part of the Iva Rosensteel Collection.
– High velocity impact fired bullet found near McAllister’s Mill. Formerly part of the Iva Rosensteel Collection.
– Artillery shell fragment found by Ellwood Cullison behind Gettysburg Recreation Park in 1963. Formerly part of the Rosensteel Collection.
– Lead Sabot from 3" Hotchkiss Shell found in woods near Devil’s Den and Big Round Top. Formerly part of the Iva Rosensteel Collection.
– Field Made Camp Lead Handle found in woods near Country Club Road at Herr’s Ridge. Formerly part of the Iva Rosensteel Collection.
