Set of five pieces of vintage Mexican folk art "Tlaquepaque" style tourist pottery drinkware, ca. 1940s-1950s. Including one pitcher and four handled cups or mugs, each with colorful floral motifs against an orange slip ground.
(Pitcher) Height: 9 in x width: 8 in x depth: 5 1/2 in. (Cups, each) height: 4 in x width: 4 3/4 in x diameter: 3 3/4 in.
Condition: One cup with a hairline crack running downwards from the upper rim approx. 2.5" long. Crazing to the glaze throughout. Light wear to the cups including some firing flaws and wear to the footrims. Losses to the glaze layer to the pitcher, especially along the upper rim. Discoloration throughout to the pitcher.
